CULTURAL LEARNING CENTER NEEDS:

We rely on donations from our community for our volunteer center.

If you can donate any of the following items or assist financially, we would greatly appreciate it and all donations are tax-deductible.

1) 10-12 Student Lockers = We want adopted students to practice with locker combinations and taking care of belongings in a locker, as well as changing classes and learning to be ready with class materials for those classes.)  We will gladly take used lockers.

2) Curriculum = We individualize student's learning according to their needs and levels of learning.

3) Simple, wireless intercom system and class bell/timer = The closer we can create our center to that of a local public school, the easier the transition will be for students when they are ready to enter into a public school setting.

VOLUNTEER TEACHERS AND HELPERS:

Our goal is to surround the students with as many English-speaking teachers and volunteers as possible so that the Russian translations can be adjusted to the particular needs of each student while challenging them to increase their knowledge of English as they gain understanding daily.
